Have you used oven cleaner? My back was out and I had to hire Molly Maid before my out-of-town guests arrived. After they cleaned my tub, I was amazed. It had never been so clean or so white. They used oven cleaner, let it sit for an hour and then rinsed it with hot water.

In an inconspicuous area try heating the adhesive with a blow dryer or heat gun. When the adhesive turns soft scrape up as much as you can using a paint scraper. Dont try to scrape it all up as you may damage the floor. Then try removing the rest with the adhesive cleaner you purchased.

Its not expensive, it takes most of a day, the equipment used includes a loud fan and chemicals to peel the old surface. It is noisy and it smells, but it may be...

If the glue is soft from being wet, try some 409 in water, and soak a while, then mop and mop. Or 409 straight. Actually, Smart Final has a similar product called Degreaser, at about four bucks a gallon last time I bought some. Very strong soap, but cleans up nice. As to Odor, after all clean, Febre...
