I too am looking for a small (33x33) bathtub for my one-year-old son to use for the next couple of years. Even a plastic bin would be fine but I cant seem to even find one of those to fit well! We have two existing showers and not enough money to thoroughly remodel the bathrooms.

We are buying a home that was built in 1900. The orginal woodwork is there and beautiful. I am trying to find a site that has ideas of decorating a home from 1900, mainly bathrooms and kitchens. If anyone knows of a site, please let me know. Thanks, Pamela

Is it appropriate to use chrome finished bathroom lighting fixtures, faucets, towel bars, etc. when the bathroom cabinetry is oak and has knobs and trim of antique brass? It seems to be such a conflict using two kinds of metals so near each other.

Not the kind that is inset into the tile, but the type where you screw into the walls - similar to those found in the old 1930s bathrooms. Length - no more than 20-22 i...

Hi! Did you ever locate one of those revolving toothbrush holders? In the late 60s my dad installed one in our bathroom....we thought it was the coolest thing we ever saw, and functional too. I have been looking for one of those for ages. I believe it was a Nutone...everything else in the bathroom w...

We are trying to move so we can put our almost 100 year old house up for sale. It has been totally renovated as far as p...

There may be other materials you could ask about such as swanstone, corian, etc. You are correct...the home centers will have a very limited selec...
