I recently purchased a house that the previous owner removed the door knocker from. I am left with 2 horizontal bores which are 3 3/4 inches apart. I am looking for a door knocker that I could use with the bores that I was left with. I have had no luck finding any. Help!

What is the hardware called that is in the center of a kitchen cabinet? It looks like a door knocker (old brassy, kinda ugly). It has one screw that holds it in place and doesnt really act as a door pull. Please help.
