We have been trying to remove the wallpaper and paint to get down to bare plaster, with no luck. The wallpaper glue seeps through the linen when you first install ...

I tried a heat gun, but it just melted the tile and the glue was unaffected. There must ne a solvent or maybe you just have to remove the tile

We have a 70 year old house. The previous owners glued indoor/outdoor carpet down onto the tile floor. I have tried Goo-Gone, just scraping, plain water - nothing seems to remove the glue entirely and its very time consuming. Does anyone know of anything else I could try
