I am looking for a lamp shade for a lamp which is approx maybe 60-70 years old.the lamp base has a light at the bottom of the base .the light part has 3 lights with a large light in the middle of it.I accidently threw away the shade thinking i could easily find a new one.Wrong on my part.

I just got a rain lamp the top part is a little rusty but after cleaning all the goo out of the bottom it still works. Where on the lamp can I find the date it was made and other info on it. Also are they a good investment. or are they still being made.
