Stair treads not fitted properly

If the treads are going to be painted latex painters caulking applied in layers is possible.Depending on the size of the gaps the latex will remain pliable. If painting is not an option the the mouldings suggested will do the trick.

does anyone know how to paint the slate siding on old houses. Mine has been painted, and we just pressure washed it a week ago. When I started painting, the paint blistered off quicker than I could put it on. I was told the house was still a bit wet........any ideas please? Thanks
