I have the same problem. The glue left a yellow film all over the tile. I was told to use mineral spirits but I havnt tried it yet. When I do, Ill post the results. I just dont want to ruin the tile.

You dont say, are the tile ceramic or asphalt? If you use solvent on the asphalt it will damage the surface of the tile as well as removing the glue.
